I have many beautiful memories of laughter, love and spending quality time with my Nana. However the memories that always first come to me involve pasta and wine! From a young child i always remeber time spent cooking and helping my mum and nana in the kitchen, specially tasting the sugo to see if it had enough salt! Every time i smell that classic chicken and pasta suace it brings back many beautiful memories of time well spent around the dinner table listening to the most amazing stories about my Nanas time as a young girl and living through the war, speicaly the one involving the pizza at the time of bombing in civitanova.

I feel forever greatful to have been able to share you with my beautiful wife and Son, and the time you spent singing italian songs to him and always trying offer them both something to eat.

You will leave a irreplaceable hole as the head of the family, and you will be missed by all, love always
